Paul in the BC (Before Christ intervened with him, when he was "Saul") was angry and persecuted the early church (ref: Acts 8:3). Paul in the AD (After Discovery of Christ - when he was called), became a man filled with love and a passion for Christ. He was beaten, stoned and jailed, he was mocked and eventually killed because of his beliefs.
What we learn is that he became a different man. His anger gone, his passion strong, his devotion to Christ was unquestioned - why? He encountered Christ and became a changed man.
As we ponder this and look at ourselves, we should ask. As a Christian, am I a changed person (are we truly changed) and if we are changed, do others see it in us? .
