“Thought For The Day”
Pray for all believers in Christ, Pray also for unbelievers that they would repent and turn their lives around and for the church’s around the world.
In our Christian life we battle against rulers and authorities (the powerful evil forces of fallen angels headed by the devil. Who is a vicious fighter.) We face a powerful army whose goal is to defeat God’s church. When we believe in Christ these demons become our enemies and they try every device to turn us away from him and back to sin. Although we are assured of victory, we must engage in the struggle until Christ returns, because Satan is constantly battling against all who are on the Lords side.We need supernatural power to defeat Satan and God has provided this by giving us his Holy Spirit within us and his armor surrounding us. Remember Jesus said to Peter; “Upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.” Matt 16:18

Most churches contain people who do not yet believe. Some are moving in the direction of belief, and others are simply pretending. However they are not to be removed. See Matthew 13:28, 29 for that is the Lord’s work alone. The good news of Jesus Christ will save us if we continue to believe in Him. The central theme of the gospel is given in these verses; a key test for the defense of Christianity. The 3 most important points are (1) Christ died for our sins, just as the scriptures said. Without the truth of this message Christ’s death was worthless, and those who believe in Him are still in their sins and without hope. However Christ as the sinless son of God took the punishment of sin so that those who believe can have their sins removed. Christ’s death on the cross was no accident or afterthought, it had been part of God’s plan from all eternity in order to bring about the salvation of all who believe. (2) He was buried. (3) He was raised permanently forever, on the third day.
“Thought For The Day!” James the half brother of Jesus did not believe he was the Messiah at first. (John 7:5) After seeing the resurrected Christ, he became a believer and a leader of the church in Jerusalem. (Acts15:13) James wrote the New Testament book of James. Eventually the world will crumble, and only God’s Kingdom will last.
Those who follow Christ are part of this unshakable Kingdom, and they will withstand the shaking, sitting and burning. When we feel unsure about the future, we can take confidence from these verses. No matter what happens here, our future is built on a solid foundation that can not be destroyed. Don’t put your confidence in that will be destroyed; instead, build your life on Christ and His unshakable Kingdom (Hebrews 12:27-29). Be strong ...now get to work, for I am with you. Judah’s people had returned to worshiping God, and God had promised to bless their efforts. But it was time for them to work.We must be people of prayer, Bible study and worship, but eventually we must get out and do the work God has prepared for us. He wants to change the world through us, His ambassadors. God has given you a job to do in the church, at your place of employment, and at home. The time has come to take courage and get going because God is with you (Haggai 2:4) “Thought For The Day!” “ When God promised to shake all the nations with his judgment, He was speaking of both His present judgment and future judgment during the last days. (Haggai 2:7) From Matthew 12:18-21 - in reference to Christ our Savior; we learn that the chosen servant reveals a character of gentleness, encouragement, justice and truth. When we feel broken and bruised or burned out in our spiritual life, God won't toss us aside as useless but will pick us up gently. God's loving attributes are desperately needed in the world today. Through His Holy Spirit, we can show such sensitivity to people around us, reflecting God's goodness and honesty toward others.
