We are reminded that we sometimes must go through the tough times in life to get to the good stuff. God has to prune things away from our lives that rob us of all He has for us. Hebrews 13:1-5 teaches us: Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this entertained angels without realizing it. Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies. We are never immune to heartache, trials or devastation. But we have a Loving Father who will never leave us. God never meant for us to have this much trouble in our lives. Make sure that your love runs deep enough to affect your hospitality, empathy, fidelity and contentment. | We need to never forget . . . God is Love! Thought For The Day Some people of our day say that we must add something else to simple faith. No person should add anything to Christ’s offer of salvation by grace through faith. |
