When you have weeds, you pull weeds and sure enough, a bit later it seems you are pulling weeds again. Yes weeds are tough to get rid of and somehow they seem to find cracks and crevices and grow just about anywhere. We though - are not so tuff. We change direction, we give up or just complain.
So what can we learn from weeds? That is to be tough, to hang in there, to do whatever it takes to persevere; to realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side - that where we are may be where we need to be. Our good times and not so good times help us to grow, to learn and are all a part of our life. And if you need a reminder, remember these words from Philippeans 4:11 . . .
"I have learned in whatever state that I am, to be content."
