And don't forget our “Thought For The Day”
God offers Salvation to all people. Many people put off a decision for Christ, thinking that there will be a better time-but they could easily miss their opportunity altogether.
Christians are brand new people on the inside. The Holy Spirit gives them new life and they are not the same anymore. We are not reformed, rehabilitated, or reeducated,we are re-created (new creations), living in vital union with Christ (reference Colossians 2:6,7). At conversion we do not merely turn over a new leaf; we begin a new life under a new Master. Not only are believers changed from with in, but a whole new order of creative energy began with Christ. There is a new covenant, a new perspective, a new body, a new church. All of creation is being renewed, under Christ’s authority. It is a new way of looking at all people and all of creation (reference 2 Corinthians 5:17).
And don't forget our “Thought For The Day” God offers Salvation to all people. Many people put off a decision for Christ, thinking that there will be a better time-but they could easily miss their opportunity altogether.

The great hope for all believers is in the resurrection. Because Jesus Christ came back to life, so will all believers, including those who have already died. Therefore we need not despair when loved ones die or world events take a tragic turn. God will turn tragedy to triumph, poverty to riches, pain to glory and defeat to victory. All believers throughout history will stand united in God’s presence, safe and secure. So we should comfort and reassure each other with this great hope. (reference 1 Thessalonians 4:13)
And our Thought for the Day: We have a responsibility to help new believers to make sure that they continue in their faith and don’t become sidetracked by wrong beliefs or practices. First Thessalonians, can better equip us to help our brothers and sisters in Christ. Apostle Paul quoted Deuteronomy 27:26 to prove that, contrary to what the Judaizers claimed, the LAW cannot justify and save - it can only condemn. Breaking even one commandment brings a person under condemnation - and because everyone has broken the commandments, everyone stands condemned.
The LAW can do nothing to reverse condemnation but Christ took the curse of the LAW upon Himself when He hung and died on the cross (reference Romans 3:20-24). He did this so we wouldn't have to bear our own punishment. The only condition is that we accept Christ's death on our behalf as the means to be saved (reference Colossians 1:20-23) We take communion because through it we commune with God and with other believers. As we eat the bread and drink the juice, we should be quietly reflective as we recall Jesus death and his promise to come again, grateful for God’s wonderful gift to us. Now all people can come directly to God through faith because Jesus death has made us acceptable in God’s eyes (Romans 3:21) The old covenant was a shadow of the new, pointing to the day when Jesus himself would be the final and ultimate sacrifice for sin. Rather then an unblemished lamb slain on the alter, the perfect lamb of God was slain on the cross, a sinless sacrifice, so that our sins could be forgiven once and for all. All those who believe in Christ receive that forgiveness.
