The old lady walked slowly to the door, he paused and held it open for her. She thanked him and as they walked into and across the parking lot - he commented that it was a beautiful sunny day. She agreed but added, she liked clouds. He responded "Why?" She told him. . . "Because they can be dark and gloomy sometimes, bringing storms yet on other days, they can be light and fluffy, enhancing a beautiful day".
Clouds are like family and friends, good times and the not so good. They come into our lives but don't stay as long as we would like and sometimes, they stay longer than we would like. But they do move on so we need to remember that clouds are like the people and events in our lives - we need to appreciate the things that unfold in our lives. The good, the bad and the in between all make up our experiences and help us to grow. Tough times don't last forever and the same is true for good times. So appreciate it all and know:
"Your mercy O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds". Psalm 36:5
