Hello & Good Bye: The framework for Bob's book is built upon an event he saw at an airport. There he sees a daughter being told by her dad. . . "I wish you enough". They hug and she then leaves. Bob goes over and talks with her father and finds out from him those words they shared were for. . .
"I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
And I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final goodbye."
Now how the above all comes together for the rest of the book is yet ahead. For this start, it reminds us that we all are drawn to the light, how we long for sunny days. I hope you ponder the above as your days unfold and watch for the continuation of this story in next week's update.
And don't forget. . . "The good man walks along in the ever brightening light of God's favor and the dawn gives way to morning splendor" Proverbs 4:18
