Churches are there to help the hurting and scared. Show people that our God is bigger than all of this. Give to those in need and comfort the sick. Be a place of shelter for those lost. And many, many more things to help people no matter who they are.
Our God knew all about the corona-virus when Moses was parting the Red Sea. God sent his son to walk this earth and save all who call on his name and believe he in the son of God. In Romans 8:35-39 it says;
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written; For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We have a Great God and Savior. Let put our trust in Him. God is at work today, now, working to bring about His will here on earth. Our mission as believers is to seek out that mission and follow it. Let’s share our faith with people in the community. When you talk to someone, in person or on the phone share what God is doing in your life. Use the corona-virus to spread the gospel. I think people may be open to the gospel now that mans plans are coming up short. Share the peace that you have knowing that this is not your real home.
Our church leadership decided to not have services as a precaution. Services will resume as soon as this scare is over. The church board is making plans to have preachers at the pulpit, sharing God’s word when Stanley’s last day as our pastor comes. The board will be meeting as soon as we can to make sure our mission in Outing continues. Our church is not the little white building on the hill, our church is people who love the lord and want to serve Him in the Outing area. Pray, study and share the good news of Jesus.

Cindy and I have been attending here for three years. During that time Stanley was our pastor. We want to say thanks Stanley and Sheila for bringing Gods word to us. For sharing your lives and being a friend and brother. My God bless you both on your next adventure serving Christ. For when you are serving God, you are like King David, unstoppable.
