We take another combined review in the 'History' section of the Bible.
This time with a brief review of the Books of First Chronicles and Second Chronicles (the thirteenth & fourteenth books of the Bible). Our summary of these is:
Who wrote First & Second Chronicles and when?
They are attributed to Ezra, written over the 450-425 BC time-frame.
What is it all about? In First Chronicles, it covers similar information that First Samuel and First Kings covered but the perspective is on what God wants to focus on, that being the positives of David's life (his dealing with his men, with the Ark, his wars, and the preparation for building the Temple). And then, Second Chronicles provides the highlights of all the Kings of Judah as some were good and some were bad (and lessons to be learned).
