The word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. But the miracle of miracles is the birth of this baby who was God in the flesh. God entered human history as one of us. There is great mystery in this, that God loved us so much that He chose to become a part of it in order that you and I might see into the heart of the great love that God has for us. Because God has come among us, our tiny fragments of time are now tied securely into the fabric of eternity. What a wonder!
Second, and before we get too far away from Christmas, we pray . . .
