Our review of the Bible continues by looking at the Book of Deuteronomy
(the fifth book of the Bible). So then. . .
Who wrote Deuteronomy?
It is the fifth and last writing attributed to Moses and it is known as his last sermons on the plains of Moab (shortly before his death around 1400 BC).
What is it all about?
It is to remind the Israelites of who they are and what God expects of them. He reviews their journey together, of the laws they have been given (known as the Deuteronomic code: Laws of religious observance, Laws concerning officials, Civil law, Criminal law), and of the Covenant they have with God.

Why should we know this? From these 5 books attributed to Moses, we know he reached the end of his days (120 years). Yes he was flawed yet he persisted for God who used him to complete these five writings which the Israelite's know as 'The Law'.
