Written in Caesarea and Rome by Luke – the Physician c. 60 - 62 AD for the the Jews and Gentiles of the Roman Empire. From it we learn how the Holy Spirit acted through believers to spread the Word of Jesus the Christ through the early church that started in the land of the Israelites and then began to spread from there.
Acts 1:8 teaches us: [and Jesus said] "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
