As 2016 unfolds, remember this. . . The Miracle of Miracles: The word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.” The birth of a baby is always a miracle, but the miracle of miracles is the birth of this baby who was God in the flesh. Not content to peer over the parapets of heaven and wring his hands at the desperation of his people, God entered human history as one of us. There is great mystery in this, that God loved the creation so much that he chose to become a part of it in order that you and I might see into the heart of the great love God has for us. Because God has come among us, our tiny fragments of time are now tied securely into the fabric of eternity. What a wonder! |
