OUR PASTOR Stanley Mikles is a man of many talents (you will also see him singing and playing as a part of our praise team) and he leads our weekly non-denominational service.
Pastor Stanley understands the challenges we all have and he provides great insight to the blessings that our faith provides (and if you want to see a picture of him, scroll down to our slide show below, that is him sitting with his wife Sheila). They are just two of the friendly faces you'll find at NCC. Join us when you can for our weekly services. Worship Service is every Sunday morning starting at 9:30am. OUR HISTORY
We welcome all and would like you to know the following about us. We are a small non-denominational church; organized by Missionary A.R Frei in 1947 and chartered July 3rd, 1948. Ground was broke in the summer of 1951 and as you can see by the pictures in our entry way, what originally was a rabbit hutch (donated by Cecilia and Clarence Burr Johnson), was transferred and remodeled to be our church (the oldest in Outing, our little white church on the hill). From our church's humble beginnings, we have worked to keep our doors open throughout the year so that our congregation and those visiting know that we encourage all on their faith journey and work to ensure the purpose of our church (to worship God, to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to celebrate the Sacraments, and to encourage Christian fellowship). Please know that all are welcomed. Our core beliefs are based on the Apostles' Creed, and that we are all here to encourage each other on their faith journey. We believe: That the Bible is the Inspired Word of God; to guide us as we grow in faith. There is one living and triune God; who is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. That Jesus Christ is God's only begotten son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of virgin birth, lived, taught and by His atoning death, resurrection and ascension into heaven ensures His intercession for His people. That the Holy Spirit is available to us all and as we pursue our Christian faith; the Holy Spirit will guide and encourage us as we pursue righteousness and a growing relationship with those inside and outside of our church. That the Sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Marriage are described within the Bible and are supported as we pursue our faith journey while we await the return of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. |
